Ohio State hosts Michigan at Ohio Stadium on Saturday, November 28, 2026, with a noon kickoff. It's Thanksgiving weekend, so plenty of fans are building a family trip around the game. If you're bringing a group, a whole home usually beats splitting up across hotel rooms.

Pick your base

Stay near the Short North and Italian Village if you want restaurants and bars within walking distance on Friday night. The Hamlet House sleeps 8 with a private hot tub and off-street parking, about 7 minutes by car from Ohio State.

Stay in Victorian Village to be closest to campus. Our Victorian Village 2BR sleeps 4 and is a 10-minute walk to the south edge of campus, or about 30 minutes on foot to Ohio Stadium.

Stay in Clintonville for a quieter home base. The Sunnyside Home sleeps 6, 9 minutes from Ohio Stadium, with a fire pit for a cold November night.

Bringing a big crew? Swanky Suites in Franklinton sleeps 12 with 3.5 baths, about 9 minutes to Ohio Stadium and 5 to downtown.

Game weekend tips

  • Plan your parking early. Stadium lots fill fast for this game, so sort it out before you arrive.

  • Dress for the cold. It's late November in Ohio.

  • Make the most of noon kickoff. You'll be done by late afternoon, so book dinner in the Short North or German Village.

  • Book early. This is one of the busiest weekends of the year in Columbus.

A note on house rules

Game weekends are for family and friends, but our homes sit in real neighborhoods. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM, and parties aren't allowed.
